Research Hypothesis

Please note your hypothesis for your topic under the "comment" section of this blog. Please have this completed before you enter class on Tuesday, 9/22. (Don't forget that your LP notebook is due on 9/24 in class.) These hypothesis statements will be critiqued as a class.

  6. There is no doubt that steroids give an athlete an added advantage. However, there are also very many side effects and even the chance of death when taking them. So why do athletes take steroids when it is so unmoral and there are so many side effects?

  7. Today rap songs are filled with lyrics about drugs, sex, and violence. Does listening to this kind of music negatively influence how a child dresses, behaves and talks?

  9. Liberty Bonds, presented to raise money for the cause of WWI, were feared be a large portion of the common citizen in the US, resulting in the majority of liberty loan profits to be forem banks and other similar organizations viewing the loans as a form of investment.

  10. The child is rewarded for remaining quiet after throwing a tantrum. The parent believes they are in control by getting their way in silencing the child; but, it is really the child who is in charge because he was the one who was rewarded. So is rewarding or punishing more effective?

  12. The NAACP was once an organization of exceptional character and extreme importance to the lives of many oppressed Americans. In recent times, it now seems that this equal rights agency has gone astray from the beliefs it once held to place special emphasis on the "Advancement of Colored People" section of the name they have so openly defiled.
